Where else could you follow in the footsteps of Old Tom Morris and Henry Cotton in the same day?

The old course is considered to be one of the finest links courses in Scotland. A classic links designed by Old Tom Morris with deep revetted bunkers, undulating gorse lined fairways and smooth fast greens. It is a superb test of golf with seven par fours over 400 yards.

Henry Cotton's preference for precision golf can be seen with the shorter but somewhat tighter new course with greens smaller than the Old but every bit as good, and equally challenging and rewarding.

Moray Golf Club is truly one of Scotland's gems, a fitting tribute to the artistry of Old Tom Morris and Henry Cotton and a must for golfers visiting the area.

Lossiemouth Fisheries & Community Museum

The Museum, staffed by volunteers, is a private concern providing an insight into the life, and danger, of the fishing industry past and present. The premises now used by the Museum were originally storage lofts for fishing gear and net mending. Most of the exhibits now on show were donated by local families. Of special interest in the Museum is a re-construction of the room used at his home by James Ramsay MacDonald, first Labour Prime Minister of Great Britain (1924-29) who was born in Lossiemouth in 1866.

The Museum also houses the original lens from Covesea Lighthouse - the lens was replaced in 1984 when the lighthouse was automated.

All visitors are very welcome, including school parties and societies/clubs. Please call 01343 813772 in advance for larger groups so that we can arrange for extra staff to help you.
